A country full of culture and changing Landscapes, with sweeping costal deserts, Mountainous cloud forests and hot sweltering Jungles, there is a lot to see in Peru. Toby and Sarena only gave themselves just over 2 weeks and only caught a glimpse of ancient Inca civilisations and the proud Indians of today. Another place to return to someday...

...Stranded on the Amazon
The arrival into Peru didn't quite go as planned. Method of transport was a tin can down the Amazon river from Brazil to Iquitos. Not too unsurprisingly though - the Tin can was a bit un reliable. The 'Must Do' for every new visitor to Peru is the Inca Trail or at least the visit to the abandoned Inca city of Machu Picchu. Again Toby and Sarena didn't have much luck completing the 4 day walk due to illness but at least they can say they did it differently to everybody else!...read diary

Not ones to miss out on seeing a few dead bodies and gruesome remains, Toby and Sarena visit Covent de San Francisco in Lima to find where all the bodies of the diseased where thrown. Nice!...read diary
